it was like that for 8 years

I was just wondering how cars around there get so rusty! over here even cars that have been buried under leaves for 20years arent that bad.

its pretty dry in canberra, no humidity.

it helps to not have gum leaves build up in the footwells - it's only surface rust though -

actually if not for Dad damaging the roof while lifting it up with the Chamberlain C670 front end loader it would have been worth killrusting and put in a shed and storing/selling off


however as it is I learned to reshell a car...

and that has been a tonne of fun

No but the original defect did get thrashed around on a salt flat, and was rusted out this why TD3 happened, and td3 is not going anywhere near a salt flat...

And TD3 did have more to it, like doors and panels, they ended up on the black car (The Iron Maiden) the door hinges and doors will be going back onto TD3 soon, the right front guard found it's way home already...

Yeah wanting to get it back on the road, get the rust cut out, and enjoy the thing, just a bit worried about the rust in the roof... The worst of it is above the quarter glass on the left side, it's visable in the pic...
