Re: l20b wagon Another one is running!! Those airfilters are a nice fit, I was going to get the larger ones but was scared how close they would end up to the strut tower, misses it by a mile though, nice to see someone using those SU's.
Love your coil lead too.

Re: l20b wagon nah no holes cut, just panel beat the lower corners of the front of the tunnel with a hammer, as the L series is wider, and modify the engine mounts and make a crossmember, then only bit of cutting was 1/2 the gearstick hole but I welded that back in the other side.
it goes really well. :)

Re: l20b wagon yeah the mounts are and interesting mix of somebody elses work and then I modified 200b engine mounts to get the engine lower and further back so I had room up front and did not have to cut the radiator support. I used a hyundai Lantra radiator and thermo and a craig davis one on the front in the original hole.
I'lll get some picks later.

Re: l20b wagon the 1200 crossmember had the mounts trimmed to an angle simular to that of a 200b, then I cut the 200b mounts in 1/2 to finish the job and locate the motor lower and improve the mounting angles.

Re: l20b wagon Which side is your alternator on? I guess still the pass side? I've left the alt on that side to simplify things, also gets too close to the battery tray.
Pigdog, those are my old su's, thats what I meant to say.
Interesting you got it to fit without modifying sump, not even beating it a bit? Do the bluey sumps have a bulge to the drivers side? I used a stanza sump on both engines.

Re: l20b wagon alternator is on the drivers side I used a universal hose, I was thinking about connecting the aircon again, or some other pump...
yeah now you mention it I did reshape it a little just so it would clear the crossmember, maybe 1/2cm with a hammer...

Re: l20b wagon need to see this in person to compare engine fitment, my alternator no longer fitted on the drivers side as it was sitting so low, and had to modify the whole back of the sump bulge to clear the crossmember and also re construct the back to clear the drag link
