the clutch out of The Yellow Peril looked like that almost down to the rivets on the engine side, and metal to metal on the pressure plate side... thankfully it was half a milimetre (VERY close to needing machining)

thankfully it didn't and i carefully out it together it all went together well exept I did forget to out the dowels back in the back of the engine again...

hoping I don't need to pull the engine out or take the gearbox out to rectify it...

i found out today that the clutch in the pic is just a ca18 non turbo kit which is why it dint last too long, i ordered a cushion button exedy for it so shouldnt have to worry bout it for a while... hopefully.

With you on the Extreme clutch Lagwagon. Have one behind the turbo and has NEVER looked like having a problem.

with the exeddy - my mate has one behind a 1ggte (twin turbo six) and another mate has one behind a very mild sr20det (155rwkw) and both of them slip like buggery. the sr clutch cost the guy an absolute packet!

extreme all the way!

I'm running an extreme cushion button behind my CA18 and was launching in second gear all day last weekend with sticky tyres with no problems at all. The mate with the SR20 lagwagon mentioned earlier was having trouble with his near new exedy. It would slip if he launched in second.
