I wonder if the rules require that the original type of suspension must be used with additions allowed and that thin strip is a "leaf" spring ....

this is a strange mix - you've got a fairly sophicticated setup with a couple of dodgy things thrown in like that droop limiting strap (I guess) and the angle of the swaybar link pins, which basically mean the swaybar is not doing anything much at all.
