 Re: lips grinded id stop where you are champ u need to cut 200mm then weld 200mm so on and so forth i just cut all of that rail off and it put alot out of wack created alot more works . . just givn ya heads up. .

 Re: lips grinded i was going to use the bit of the lip on the new panels and then fold them over and probly put a 90degree brace behind it all

 Re: lips grinded When i did mine I cut the whole thing off and then got someone to hold the two edges together and tacked it a 4 or 5 places along the edge. I then clamped a straight edge to it to make sure it was straight. Then weld stiches in alternating areas down the rail until it is done. this just to keep too much heat out of it to stop warping. mine ended up perfect.
