been doing heaps of work on it last couple of days. giving the old a12 general motor stuff oil, new alt, rocker cover gasket, lots of tuning to try and get rid of the flat spot.

put some flash springs in the back last night which put it at a reasonable height :)

tonight changed the steering wheel for a formuling . removed the tow bar and wiring. swapped the carbys to fix flat spot then swapped back. swapped the dizzy out for a spare as the mech advance was rooted. too it for a lap and it pulled hard. pulled into dundees drive told him to come for a blat. got round 2 corners and she dropped a cylinder. got back to find coolant escaping through the exhaust manifold! bugger! so speeds up the plans for the old a12.

ordered a re-ring kit for it today but the bearings are ex east which is a bastard. looks like we'll be fitting an oval port head then fitting an import oval port manifold and standard carb to get it licensed before putting the twin solexs on it. if dundee has his way while its all in peices it will be getting a big stick too.

few more things to do before i attempt to lincense it. check the brakes and replace the flexi lines cause they are shagged. put tyres on it, fix the horn, fix the wiper motor, fit a washer sack and rewire the number plate light then should cruise over.. maybe..

All the 1000's seem to think that WA is the place to be!

Nice wagon, original hubcaps. Those grille's are neat too. I'm still unsure about the round lights bit too BMC for me.
