It looks very similar..I'll look through my old photos. I don't know what it looks like with the original bellhousing. I got mine from SSS Automotive in 1993 with the Bluebird SIII Bellhousing already fitted.

Comparing the photos..no it's not a stumpy skyline box.

Looks like an A series box to me - is there any castings on the other side? where the bell housing turns to the casing proper.

it'll be something like "56A" or "60A" e.t.c.

Looks like a sunny gearbox to me is it 4 or 5 speed? its definatly not a Mr30 skyline (stumpy)box do you know what motor it was atached too??

Just to add something different, I think from the angle of the top flat section that sits below the rear of the head I'm tipping Z series box (Z18T or Z20) or FJ20T.

The extension housing is too long for a stumpy. I pretty sure its a 240K 5 speed or Z18T with the gearbox mount where it is.

yes it does look like one i can remeber whot my one look like but it look like good mach up you can use a CA20 bellhuseing if you can fined one not hard to fined but to get sum one to split a gear box for just the bell wood be hard

That waffle pattern on the bellhousing makes me think its it an L6 5spd. Certainly not a Stumpy.
