The origanal 1200 motor will remain in the UTE, just going to be overhauled. Bodywise, its going to look origanal.

Dattodude: Hope you win the lotto soon, as Nissan SA will be stopping production of these bakkies on 20th December 2007, the agents say that they should still be able to get hold of them for the next 7 or 8 months. Apparently they are now selling like hotcakes, because of them been discontinued.

Well you're off to a good start. I always prefered the standard roofline of the 1200 rather than the higher roofline of the later Bakkie's.

What engine do you plan to run?

Full respect for sticking with the old school style and bodylines. I agree that a year 2000+ bakkie conversion would be sooooo much easier.
