hey ange i like the look of the checkerplate i was owndering did you cut the old floor out and if so did you have problems with the fuel tank or was it easy? i am thinkin of doin g something similiar to my ute

this was quite some time ago..
yeah the old floor was cut out which is a very time consuming job as it is spot welded everywhere...
the fuel tank was removed prior.. and then new mounts were welded to the new floor when it was complete

out with the old tub floor and in with the new chequerplate..... a budget repair i think considering nissan quoted me $900 for a new floor....

yeah all except for the welding which i had a mate do.... im pretty happy with it, definately an improvement i think

cost me nearly $100 in checkerplate rather than the quoted $900 for a genuine replacement tub floor....
