They came with 1.2 engines in ZA. Though as per usual, someone I knew fitted a 3.0 Ford Essex V6 to one... and it was the big block version too...

Twin 40mm Weber Carbies, Extractors, electronic ignition, coupled up to a corolla 5 speed box. Kenwood stereo unit with 400 watt Amp, MTX splits in doors, 8 inch subs (audio pipe x 2) under each seat inside custom made fibreglass boxes. SAAS seats refurbished in black and grey, steering wheel to match.. The tray has been sprayed with a polyurethane liner, (sprayed not a liner)
