I know its a 1.6L Twincam 16valve, thats all.
Could somebody tell me what type of motor
it is.

After witch, this motor is going in my bakkie with fuel injection and all (power steering and air con not included). Then I got to save again for the blow dryer. Anybody for Almera spares after the motor comes out.

The N16 in South Africa only came out with the QG18DE and a QG16DE. Quote: QG16DE = The QG16DE is an 1,6 L (1597 cc) straight 4 cylinder engine with DOHC and 16 valve and variable timing control (VTC). It produces 118 hp / 6000 rpm and 143 nm / 4400 rpm. Bore and stroke are 76 mm (3.0 in) and 88 mm (3.5 in). It is used in the Nissan Sunny NEO with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatik transmission, and in Nissan Primera (P12) edition sold in various countries across Europe. QG=quality and green

I picked this car up for a bargin, so I could not leave it, it only has 85000 km on the clock. I'll see if I can find the engine model in the engine bay.
