Re: Datsun from the 80,s Yes, there are lots of them still running on SA roads! Most of them has an awfull Diff/gearbox whine and you can hear them coming from miles away!! But they seem to just go on running for ever,noises and all! Would drive me mad if I had to drive one!

USA models came with A14, then A15, then E-series. They were called "Datsun 310" here.

Re: Datsun from the 80,s ddgonzal: they came out here in Australia the same way. Try and find any of the A series ones though. Most parts shops will tell you the only came out with the E series engines.
Yes that is where the alloy covers come from. But not in Australia. Seem South africa got most of them.
Datsun 310, Cherry, Pulsar etc are a few of the different names the car has.
