So what's the plan, watch latest release movies while you drive?
Do you still have the ability to control the heater & get some demist on those frosty mornings?

Where are the heater/demister controls now? You haveto have them by law so I assume you moved them.

Don't take offense to this, but those things are just a total wank, especially in a ute. When are you going to watch it? I was behind a ####ty commo ute a while back which had five screens in it, including in its headrests. He was playing some movie while he drove, pure genius (especially if the choppers pulled up behind him).

The only real use for these things is keeping the kids quiet in the backseat on long haul trips. For that reason I have a portable DVD that can run off the ciggie lighter.

In the end it's a matter of opinion. I think it's a wank, but many people have said that about the exhorbitant stereo's I've had in my cars. If it floats your boat then it was worth the cash.

well seeing as i only paid 600 bucks, lol

i guessing u would normally spend around 450 on a decent cd player, why not get a dvd player for 600.. figure that out i say :P

and yes i have a hair dryer under the dash that is 12volt and works as a dimister,

and also im from adelaide, this place dnt get cold and my car only gets driving on weekends, so windows wont fog up coz it wont be in the rain coz it will be in the carport and not moving if it rains :)

yeh i agree with whorida on the total wank thing, it just looks funny but thats just my opinion. mine doesn't even have speakers because when i hit 80 odd km/h i can't hear anything anyway.

I put one in my 720, cost me $150 8months ago, it was good for when I was sitting around bored in my car.

My mate put one in his 1200 ute, he replaced the lid of the glovebox with a plate and mounted the screen in the plate so that only the passenger could see it clearly.

well, i wouldnt say jealousy, maybe people are more for practicality.
most people will just watch tv at home.

if you ask peoples opinions it will always result in a few negative comments.noones tastes are the same.
