Re: P312 front susp This is the set-up in the 312 sedan. Is it similar to any other vehicle that anyone recognises? Does anyone know of a decent disc upgrade for something like this?

Re: P312 front susp Ford?????? Ford what, Customline? Falcons use a spring on top of the top wishbone from memory, so it wouldn't be that.
Didn't the P411 have discs? The P411 was simply the last incantation of these before the P510 if memory serves, so there's a possible bolt-on candidate. [or was it only the P411 SSS?]
Yes, they're older & service parts might not be on the shelf at Autobarn, but once they are fully reconditioned, they should last the life of one of these cars in normal service & keeping a spare set of pads under the bench will keep you rolling for decades.

Re: P312 front susp the front suspension design reminds me alot of my 1956 Austin A50
exept it has "normal" shock absorbers instead of lever arm ones

Re: P312 front susp mainly just the shock absorber retainer that reminds me Dodgeman, like an old Falcon 500 I think exept they built the wheelarches over them.
