Re: rare in the us 1976 610
Yes , they are still about in NZ. They were called the 180B here. A lady I work with drives a 4 door to work every day.I had the coupe version SSS and wrecked it for the 1800 and 5 speed for my 1st 1200 coupe back when I was 16. I always wanted the factory race version the U it had the LZ twin cam engine and all the screw on flares and spoilers, they looked mean as.

These are indeed rare nowadays. But in the 1970s and 1980s they were a common sight.

Maybe where you come from, but not in SoCal. In fact, I've seen the most 610's in the past few years than I've seen the the last 20 years. Funny, as there were supposedly more 610's sold overall in the U.S. than 510s.

Re: rare in the us 1976 610
I have never seen a 610 on the road, I feel like a man on the moon. It is cool in a way, because I have a very unique car, but it would be nice to see another every now and then. B210's used to be common, but California with its scheme of getting rid of older cars(about to be exempted from smog, no more fees nor tests to pass, which the state does not like, no paying vehicles are money they loos, they would rather pay you with our money, tax payers, to exterminate your car and put you behind the wheel of a paying car)...have been destroying even the indistructible B210s, what time could not do, greed is doing. 1200 where not common either, I remember only few on the road, and for the past 10 years, except for the occasional car show, I have not seen one daily driver either.

Rest asure I will keep the endangered species alive.
Jaime

The car above is a dead ringer for my daily driver.
