Re: vault rims, photoshopped it's seems to be that a lot of people are just simply trying to stand out now with no regard to whether it ends up looking good. sure 17 inch chromies stand out but not in a good way, like ricer boys in their excels with milo tin mufflers.
if you're interested i have a set of 16 inch simmons that were on my ute for $1500 with brand new tyres.

Re: vault rims, photoshopped I've already said it but I can't believe everyone is still going on about being different.....once again
VAULTS ARE ON EVERY SECOND CAR YOU SEE!!!
They are not original, someone even listed about five 1200 utes known to have them on before. Just buy a set and be just like the sheep a few people are warning you off becoming.

Re: vault rims, photoshopped http://www.simmonswheel.com.au/http://www.showwheels.com.au/Problem solved. If you like the vaults better than anything else you should get them. It is your car and not everyone else's so you should get something that you are happy with. Here are some tasty options for you to think about!

Re: vault rims, photoshopped I love 17's on 1200's but not those. Vaults are about 8 years out of fashion and were pretty damn ugly when they were popular. Every ute that has 17's seems to have these. Sniper, 45USN, the pink one in QLD, The MADDAT ute. Get 17's for sure but if I were you I would be getting something else. But that said it's your car so you have to like the look of whatever you put on it.

Re: vault rims, photoshopped I have seen worse. But with 17's on such a small car it just doesn't look right. In US & A they seem to be doing the 'too big for my car' thing with wheels and jacking them up to the hilt so they don't rub on the standard guards. I think it is so they can get a better shot with their guns...

Re: vault rims, photoshopped 1200rc, you reckon 'wannabees' are a dime a dozen compared to these. Honestly, don't know what it's like down your way, but up here every second WRX, Skyline, friggin' mum's Corolla runs a set of Vaults. There are at least ten Beamers local to me with these rims, even an M3.
Unfortunately, unless you pay a ####load to get some one off rims made up then at least a thousand other cars out there are gonna have the same rims as you.
As the saying goes, 'originality is just undetected plagiarism'.

Re: vault rims, photoshopped hater with the passion of a thousand suns. Also hate sheep. as in to the tee followers. Personally i never want to run anything larger than 13's on any 1200 i ever own but wat's, superlites, minilites, rewinds, anything of that look is pretty much just the "default" of oldschool japanese. Sure i say this owning some 13x7 superlites but the main reason i got them was because they were dirt cheap off trademe and they suited my car the greatest at the time with the money i had. There are a million rim options out there and even more sick tiny superwide jap wheels to make your 1200 look like a fuking road warrior. Dont be such sheep. One more thang, i know wats rule but really, only neg offset small and WIDE wats rule. these 13x6 with 20p offset just looks #### on anything rwd. wow that was a rant and a half. from another "hater" EDIT: HOLY CRAP, konig is making a mk3 replica, that aint cool. surely they can make up their own stlyes

Re: vault rims, photoshopped dude take this from someone who loves seventeens on the little beasts.....those rims suck big time.....i don't like them on anything.
stick with seventeens cause that is what you obviously really want but don't fall into the rice burner wannabe trap....these look fake and crap on a skyline or supra....here is an idea...get simmons B45's in 17x6 and 17x7 with the offset for your car specifically...you will earn respect and the coloured centers can be matched to your car....i wouldn't tho...black centers will be the pick in my opinion
but just my opinion....
