Awarded "Best 1200" at Blue Lake 2003.

Color is not white, but number 905. It is a mostly stock 1971, but has 13" minilite-style wheels, Weber 32/36, custom upholstery (very nicely done) and only 73,000 original miles.

The only suggestion I might make is to paint the door window frame black. In any case this is a good looking car.

RE picture: Very nice looking car..

If you mean the strips under the doors?

You can't get them new. I think they only existed as an option on the DX models. The problem generally related to having them fitted after the paint was applied, so the holes mean that rust would start forming around the holes, and this would completely rust out the sill panel. Meaning that any cars that did have these stainless strips, has long since been turned into landfill.

They do look good though. Especially on "stock" restored 1200s. If anyone knows where to get some straight ones from, OEM or reproduction, that'd be great.

 Re: 1200driver
first mod to my car was removing that, i think the car looks 100% better without (unless you are going for the stocka look)

i chucked em with all the other stuff that people have asked for since

my mate still has em on his coupe, ill grab em for someone if he decides to take em off

i also have his coupe hubcaps which are in pretty good condition, anyone after a set of them?
