black looks like its unfinished, like the panels u get off ebay etc. beautiful ute tho, one of the cleanest examples ive seen. also love the 'sparco' logo showing on the back of the seats

i rekon it breaks up the large area of silver on the rear ya know. Also adds a bit of contrast and adds interest.

 Re: hard lid
nice looking ute

i would never have chosen those wheels for it, or the black tailgate handles but it all works well together. maybe silver handles and the original black bumper-ette's would look nice also

i dont like the black lid idea though
looks better as it is

 Re: hard lid
cheers for that cheater. i think it looks better in silver. the wheels are custom speedy wheels that were designed for the aussie racing cars so i got a free set (only road car in the world with them, how's that for individuality?). i was originally just going to use them short term but then they grew on me and i decided to paint them black and keep them for a while. some nice 13" minillites with black centres and a polished lip would also look brilliant on her i think. i will probaly paint the handles silver in the future as well but they came in that nice gloss black and i figured it could wait till after rego.

I'll have some silver minilites for sale in a couple of months You could just paint the centres black.
