Drying the strip kululadotgroen 2008/6/23 20:03 Tell a friend 1507 2 10.00 (1 vote)
It was overcast, and the track was wet from the previous nights rain. They asked all the racers to drive through the track continiously till it got dry. Great side ways action in 3rd on 0.8 bar boost. |

Re: Drying the strip Oooh, and I forgot to take some pics of the tramps rods. You can just see the sticking out there, they work a treat. Ran a 13.39, and even than I could have launched even harder, because I could feel that there was loads more grip, but subsequent runs were marred by over eagerness, slipped gears and still some axle tramp. When we assembled the rear, we found that both the 2 month old shocks were screwed, but we didn't have enough time to fit some new ones. Found a place today which will modify them for drag use, for not to much.
What's that, a 13.39, yes I bettered my prevous time of 13.7, and am sure I can get into the 12's with my current setup. Still street legal, full interior 13" nangkang 185's and some extra gear you didn't get from factory...
