Bilstein front struts & 400lb springs

These have only done 2 meetings since the Bilstein's were put in.
These were professionally built for a Datsun 1200 coupe race car which was running a A12 in the original position. |

 Re: Bilstein front struts & 400lb springs Vw rabbit bilstein sports fit well in my stock 1200 strut tubes. They are about four inches shorter than stock and work well when fitted correctly. You have to integrate the dust seal onto the threaded cap somehow. The shafts are monstrous - nearly as big as the strut body itself.

Re: Bilstein front struts & 400lb springs I just thought about the 400lb spring rate and thought of the 180SX I just got rid of and how much the wife hated riding in it. I'm thinking i need something a little less harsh.
