I promised a pic of the large NISSAN badge on the SA version of the Datsun UTE,Well Here it is. Sorry about the quality of the pic, as I had to take this pic while pulling away from a robot.

Yes, almost on every street corner, though some smaller rural towns are lucky, and haven't been assimilated yet...*HAHAHA*

Thats correct DD, mine had the oval one seen that is is a 2006. The earlier ones had a much larger NISSAN badge in to middle of the grill, almost took up most of the grill. Well take apic when I see one again, but most people took them off as they were to big.

i have two grills like that 1 i pulled of a 1992 model which was imported from japan same badge etc the other came of ebay from thailand
same badge also

nice mags! They look like early BMW Alpina rims with the spokes and black centres. I presume they'd be copies because the BMW rims have a 4 x 100 stud pattern rather than the 4 x 114.4 like Nissans.

(If they are genuine Alpinas then you would get good $$ for them from the classic BMW guys!)

Yes it looks very much like the newer SA bakkie. This Japanese owner vehicle has the standard low-roof I think.

As I understand, 2004 bakkie has N-I-S-S-A-N on the grille, and 2006 bakkie has oval Nissan grille emblem. What did the earlier ones have?
