Hey, I thought 1200's had the distributor toward the front of the block instead of the middle?

Those were the older model a12 engines, they later changed the motor to have the dizzy in the middle...

1974 models. South Africa continued to produce Datsun 1200 sedan & coupe through 1975 or longer.
