 Re: dat383 you have a good eye! it is a gemini rack.it is about the narrowest front facing rack you can get,but the rack ends are too long and have to be cut down and re-threaded.the front radius rods need to be modified to clear and the struts swapped left to right so the original steering arms face forwards. fabricate a suitable mount to hold the rack securely and turn down the input shaft of the rack to suit what ever uni setup and steering shaft you want to run.then you have to connect it to the factory steering column... but thats another story altogether. don't do it unless you must,its too bloody hard!

I only really want to run a rack and pinion setup for improved steering feel and better turn ratio, I know the standard 1200 setup is pretty good but if there is a easy(ish) option I'll do it. Is there any other setups people have used? I think a toyota starlet or AE86 rack would be pretty close...
