hmm i would skip the black sills and bonnet personally. Would ruin the clean look your going for. Sills maybe but not bonnet.

This one looks the goods though. Should keep the pigs off ya back

looks good, the black it does need is under the wheelarches and front suspension etc.
grab a piece of cardboard to hold over the panels and keep black overspray off when u do it tho.

beattie what are you talking about?? 1000's dont rust at all! they were built with quality something 1200's lack with the exeception of the guards they are always shagged that is why the other side is off it is still getting repaired

ahh no we didnt try to tint it but we tryed to match it as best we could to the original paint wich was an off white colour

the other wagon i would love to paint black but it brings out the tiniest defects in the paint and white cars usually always look wonderfull plus i want it to be a sleeper

after this car has served its purpose as a daily which will be till i find myself another decent 1000 that wont take much to rego this one will be stripped back to bare metal and then restored to original condition

i have a problem i just cant resist to buy 1000's they are so wonderfull lol mmm

Well of course they are wonderfull, because, as we all know, ...
Datsun 1000, ... it's no ordinary car.
