I saw a powder blue one a while back, and was so excited an aghast that I totally forgot to take a picture. The chairman of our club went to a casual event at the local strip, and took this picture of another white one. It was apparently also running a 4AGE with twin throttle bodies.

Geting an owner to part with the car should not be a problem, geting you to part with whatever the required amount of cash might be, now that's likely to be a problem.

Some of these 1200 models in some countries are now leaving the area of 'used car' & entering into another realm where the old term 'market value' seems to be a fast fading memory as owners who are realising their rarity want to hold onto them.

Everybody has their price, even me.

Supply and Demand. Supply seems to be in USA, while Demand appears to be high in every other country...

Will trade: 2-dr sedan for pre-1982 Ute/Bakkie or 2-dr wagon/van.

Go the 2-dr sedan!

I wonder how they came about as I understand that South Africa never got the 2 door sedans. Also that 1000 ute that Velociti got. I never saw any 1000 in South Africa.

If you recall a some time ago I posted that I saw another 2 door at the shops, I also talked to that guy about selling it. He wouldn't have none of it, but did mention that he knows of only 4 others in the country, the 2 doors that is. Yes, neither have I seen a 1000 car or bakkie... Velocity's is the first...
