Re: maddat brakes on my ute they advertise the struts for $1390 on the maddat home page... i dont know if that includes the disk and calipers.... on the datsport page they have R31 struts, disks, and calipers for $1700 but to fit them to a 1200 you need stanza ball joints and steering arms

Re: maddat brakes on my ute Quote: alll up it was 2800 with everything u see and engineers cefticed Thats all well and good but, how well do they work? are they the RX4 set up? a mate had them on he's 1600 and they weren't that good, he went for skyline set-up. In a 1200 ute they should be alright, Have you tested them out yet?

Re: maddat brakes on my ute We have sold many of these sets up around the world with great success, on track, drift, rally and street cars. The only problem i have incounted is when people use the wrong pad for there use. The most expensive pad is not necesserily the best for your situation.
I have used the 4 spot Nissan Calipers, and i find the Mazda to have a better pedal feel, they weigh less, and pad choice is great and cheap.
I know of some quick S4 RX7's doing fast times running stock brakes, and they are a heavy car.
