the motor, a14 (1608cc) with ported head big valves and throttle bodies, motec...  celica box, r31 diff 5.1 gears, bilstein all round, 200sx 4spot front brakes, commodore rear, and all the usual rally stuff, (blew this motor up with an oil problem first 15ks of first test. rebuilt std bore a15, with all the same bits, tested last night and survived. A little less power but nice to drive....

efi hardware throttle bodies 40mm tapered bore, motec m4, mazda 79mm bore piston with valve release cut in them and a compression ratio of somewhere over 12:1. it went really well down low, lts of torque. This power was with a jts 140 cam i think its called.

yes they are a homologated item. ive seen the papers. so are front spoilers and rear one two. Been told that a14 are legal too now. I run amsag, a kind of rebel league. It doesn't have all the #### cams does, (its not a spin off to raise money for v8 supercars). Cars only have to run the same brand motor as original, and the same amount of cylinders.
5.1 ratio is available from any good diff builder. They can get the gear set from bosnjak engineering in sydney. Dont ask the price.

not a custom gear set, out of a london taxi... made in south africa and bosnjak engineering are the only ones we know can get them... not many diff places know this. and it does cost.

o, this motor made 116hp at the wheels at 6700rpm. the rev limiter was set at 7500 and it comfortably went there. I think th new motor is pushing 105 at the wheels at the same revs (being 110mls less capacity)
