Nah, that's happened to many of my tires and I never leave the ground. I think they just got tired. Or maybe some manufacturing defect finally let go. I even had three Michelins do this.

Thats tyre delamination, caused by the carcus of the tyre breaking up, caused by old age or in many cases a cheap and nasty tyre!

It's a secondhand Dunlop sp 70 that I didn't see much abuse from me until recently. Pity, I quite liked having matched tyres.
