Great looking pedal setup, I just bought a setup from US, can't wait to fit it all, what master cylinders are you using, and where did you get the reseviours?
Cheers

Hi Sean,

The reserviors are from Bendigo specialist brake and clutch. and were only $18 each from memory. They are supplied with a mounting bolt (14mm) and i tapped this thread into the aluminium block you can see in the pic.

The master cyls are AP (short series) from competition friction, $220 each.

3/4" for the front and 13/16" for the rear. With a balance bar between.

Thanks for that mate,

I was going to use a 1" tandem until I could afford to make a pedal box some time in the future but decided to just buy one now and get it done.

I will look into finding some single m/cyls in 3/4 and 13/16, they need to have verticle mount with bolt spacing of 57mm or 2.25".

 Re: Remote Brake reservior
Sean, you will probably have to go smaller master cyls than me.

To get precise you have to calculate things like pedal ratio, caliper piston area, pad area, rotor diam, front / rear weight of car and centre of gravity height of car.

Im guessing the biggest difference between your set up and mine would be pedal ratio, as mine is 8:1. You will find yours is closer to 3 to 5:1 meaning smaller master cylinders would be used.

I would suggest you try 5/8 on the front and 3/4 on the rear as a starting point.
This should get you well within balance bar tunability and without too much pedal effort.

If you can get them fairly cheap it wont hurt your pocket too much to make a change after testing if need be.

Simon

Have a look here

I have started a thread about m/cyls and have a pic of the pedal box i have ordered.
