 Re: ass end
Yeah it sits down straight but just not fully closed in that pic...
I started to get cracks in the rear next to both sets of tail lights and some rust started to appear at the top of the tray so i decided to strip it back and see what i was dealing with.... Bad idea...
There was enough bog used in the car to make a new datsun shell... it was stupid.... so i got my pannel beater to fiberglass around the back and weld the rust up....
moved onto the fuel filler and at the bottom of the sill the guy before me just bogged the sill into place.... no welding just bog....wtf???
so that is all welded up now too....
The toneau tray.... the guy before me used two sheets of gal steel.... fair enough one would have been better but anyway... striped it back and realised that he only tack welded three spots all way down the cover.... and again wtf??? he didnt even strip back the gal to let the rediculous amount of bog he used on there to grip... stripped all that back and fixed all that.... so by the end of it i just decided to respray the whole car just as there would be too much of a colour difference if it wasnt fully done. so a lot of work has been done to this car.....
