Re: At a meeting in the Netherlands Flat tyre? Hell, I'd forgotten what they were. I have just had a big think-back & I don't recall having a flat tyre in the last 15 years or more. [Bicycles don't count]
I had better check my spare, it may have decomposed from old age.

Re: At a meeting in the Netherlands Unfortunately I don't think there are other meetings left this year.Winter is not a good season to drive an older car over here,it can rain often and they put salt on the roads as soon as it starts freezing so many people will keep their cars in the garage until march-april of next year. Are you going to a specific place or making a tour of the country?Dodgeman, the flat tyre was caused by some debris from an accident that just had happened when we passed there.I only felt a small impact in the steering wheel ,but when the tyre was taken off later for repair,it had a two inches long deep cut inside (and no damage outside) and the steel wires were broken, like if I had driven over something at least the size of a brick. So a nearly new tyre was lost.......And during the 250km long journey home,I somehow never could forget I didn't have any spare tyre left......

Re: At a meeting in the Netherlands The car has been on the road for almost three months now,so it is about time I put some pics up here.Drove from Belgium to the Netherlands to participate to a meeting and small cruise from the Nippon Classic Cars Club there, and had a very nice day driving around the Dutch country and chatting with other japanese cars fans.Drove a total of 630km that day,the car didn't miss a beat (that flat tyre doesn't count.....) and enjoyed every second of it!!
