Have you painted all this apart or assembled? With metallic it is hard to get the fleck in the paint to look the same with different applications.

Im a fan of painting everything in bits. Fit it all up align panels fit catches etc, I even fit engine and interior on the last 1200. Then blow outside over, fit glass and chrome and its done.

im painting all parts not attached but was told to paint the bits in the same orientation as if it was fitted

yeah putting it back together will be painful but also so rewarding.

pepper the color is actually from a 92 lexus and it almost black until it hits light and it becomes a gun metal grey with a hint of purple
