Seen that this is a 2006 model, it came from the factory with the extention arm from the carb to the air cleaner. It also had a large factory fitted MAN aircleaner,which I just cut off and fitted the cone filter (See pic below).The pipe into the old MAN aircleaner is exactly the same size as the cone filters one,so it was basicly just bolt on. No the carb does not need to be retuned, it work perfectly as is.

is it easy to change the normal air filter to a pod filter from the carby and do u have to retune the carby if u change to a pod filter?

Its a cover from a Datsun Pulsar. Its Aluminum, ive still got to get it polished up. Very rare here in SA.

Is that a factory aluminuim rocker cover, or is it just a pressed one painted a funny colour?

It looks like a cast aluminum Datsun Cherry rocker cover.

Can't be factory for the Nissan 1400, as it says "Datsun" on top.
