Tyrie to remove the existing bolts i did what pigdog did with the one i got off him. Just get a hacksaw blade and broke it in say half and sawed in to the heads till i could get a flat head screwdriver in enough to undo them bit fiddly but got it out neatly, No butchering

hacksaw is old school way to do it.

Get a dremel (or china copy) and use the cutoff grinding disc until you get a screwdriver slot!

Yes, all those methods work.

The one that doesn't cost any money is just use a center punch. In a pinch, you could use a nail. Slowly tap the punch to turn the bolt anti-clockwise. Tap, tap, tap. Eventually they spin out. It takes a while, but I have removed many of them using this method.

It's a Nissan Japan catalog part. I'm sure the USA part number is different.

cool, I'd never seen the break-off bolts unbroken before. Is there a special way to remove them or just drill the head off them?

Re: Steering Lock with keylock and ignition switch
I recently bought a new key barrel in the ute and all i did was do them up tight until they literally broke off.

I also had to use a cente punch to get the old bolts out, Pain in the ASS!!!
