You're still going to have to put something in place of the front spring, as it acts as a locator for the front end. Possibly a steel bar or so. My old 1000 coupe had the front spring clamped pretty solid to the crossmember,almost to the point of not working.

I wouldent hav thought you would need any sort of location as it is a twin A arm set up?

not had a 1k but I'm pretty sure they don't have Castor rods - the transverse leafspring does that job

no more front leaf spring is all im going to say
we are getting different ones to these shown pretty much the same though except with remote canisters
these are rated at around 470kgs per shockie so i think that should be fine with the lil light weight 1k
oh and by the way this is going onto my bro 1k 2dr so its going to be my guinea pig
