What a shame. Will insurance cover you? If not I have some parts lying around which may help (grill, light surounds, gaurds and bonnet)

 Re: ouch
Yes, I have a "spoken value" policy on my 1200 ute, so I'll get that exact agreed value back should this every happen. This kind of insurance is pretty cheap for non-daily-driver cars.

But my 1200 sedan is uninsured for damage. It's probably worth $1500-$3500, but I got the latter invested in it not counting all my countless hours... a regular policy would probably consider it worth $800.

 Re: ouch
Ouch. Sorry to hear about this.

It is very unlikely to get repaired. In australia, it is relatively easy to find another Datsun 1200 to replace it. This kind of damage would be very expensive to repair, as the unibody is bent from front to rear.
