Re: s13, L series speedo gear drives the S13 gear is removable from the shaft and is slighty larger, the L series gear is all in one with the shaft, it still turns but not sure running true to the gear in side the box, changing to run manual speedo cable..... im not 100% sure if you can get a larger gear

can the L series gear be machined off its sshaft, the simply attach the s13 gear and there's your manual drive.

Re: s13, L series speedo gear drives what im going to do is pull out the split pin on the side and checkout the size, i recon there the same shafts size inside just the gearing different, the outer housing looks the same.....
