This is what I spent my weekend doing.
Took ole grey velour covered panels, added black vinyl and 1/2" foam and this is the result.
Never done any upholstery before, but as with the rest of the build, the point is to learn.

Yeah the horrible velour with 'superfast lightning bolt' are the old panels.

Look in the other photo of the door panel and you'll see the great spelling of 'Dato' too.

5 mts vinyl $70, 5mts foam $35, spray glue staple gun and 4hrs each panel. That includes mucking around with different speaker holes. Damn 6.5" speakers

so just to clear things up, the black vinyl is the new one and the old one used to have horrible blue lightning bolts?
