Some Dick had decided to take a sticky beak under the bonnet - fair enough (almost) but forgot to put the bonnet pims back in when they had finished! So when the truck driver put it on the flat bed to bring it to my place, the bonnet flew open on the freeway.....BRILLIANT!
Thats really irresponsible.
I would have sued the man who did this. I do love my car a lot so I keep care, recently purchased a cover for it from here(http://www.nationalcarcovers.com/). And I would not like anyone messing around with my car.
Are the scuttle panels diffrent for the round head light models? That will piss me off if they are, not as many round headlight models about.
I checked the data logging also. Some little #### thought he might take it for a fang....got bored real quick though when it wouldn't rev past 3,000rpm or make any boost (I changed the rev limit).
I considered pad locks, but I had just replaced the fuel reg & Some fuel lines. I was a little worried that if something leaked & caught fire they wouldn't be able to open the bonnet......
Also, the car had to be driveable, so I couldn't take the master key with me
I spoke with the company this morning, and they will cover the repair costs.... just need to get two quotes. Has anyone got a car trailer in Perth that I can borrow?
God invented padlocks Thats a beauty, Yeah o.k. No you should be able to trust people especially when your dealing with a business that needs to maintain a good reputation.
No, when it comes to race cars you can't trust anyone. If you go to any of the top race meetings in the country all of the cars are locked in their garages at night, on the ground with car covers on...with padlocks on boot and bonnet. Its called peace of mind.
