The mazdat is comming along nicely, tail shaft getting cut this week, rear brakes off a sabb are in, vented fronts are done, front end all tight now. This week the the brakes should be finished. I have changed the turbo to be a T25 to start off and see how it goes. Haltec E8 ready to go, drop tank in but needs more work. I am hoping to turn the key in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Has anyone built a dash board? I want a plain dash to mount the autometers. Please leave comments. By the way I will have some parts to sell soon, electronic distribtor and old fuel only haltec computer, thermofan.

OK its a pretty long list.
Body is R100 tail lights, black with a blue pearl, front bumberets to expose large intercooler, gemini square front head lights with a custom stainless steel tube grill (not finished) gaurds flared slightly to fit 15x 7 inch B45 polished simmons, hot rod small round rear vision mirrors. Alloy drop tank (not in when photo taken).Colour coded door handles, all new rubbers.
Engine, A15 decompressed bored out head with double valve srings triple valve grind. Poliched and match ported. Pistons 40" oversize modified for decompression. Rods linished and polished. Crank nitrided. high volume oil pump (thanks Googs). Customised datsun plenum with 3 inch throttle body. haltech injection with 4 coil packs. T28 tubo on a stainless manifold (mainfold plate CNC machined one piece). The engine is pink and chrome and on the stand in the right of the photo.
Front suspension is custom made coilovers with bilstin shocks all round, four wheel disc brakes, fronts are L series (may go four spot) All lower suspension is polished or chrome, adjustable front camber. Strut top brace needed but not designed yet, I want to go to the fire wall as well as the strut towers.
Diff I am not sure of its origions. Taken from a front running rally car, minispooled, multipl centre's. disc
Gear box, rally special five speed, first down to the left, reverse above it. 2,3,4,5 in H pattern. Clutch custom made. hydraulic operation.
Interior, racing seats half cage through boot to rear, full set of autometer gauges, no rear seats, alloy sheet. Custom dash(not done)
Will it be fast, who knows, will it handle, who knows, it is different and I have sunk hundreds of hours into it. All machine work and fabrication to this point done by me. Currently sitting in a shop being finished as I could not find the time, this car has been on the build for 10 years. I go though moments of wondering if I should sell it as is or finish it, at this point I am finishing it. Yesterday I was selling it cause the shop its at has not done much, 5 months for rear leaf springs and bushes, had the ####s. Any way, my partner and I are thinking of kids so it may be fore sale when its finished anyway. So thats the story of Black betty, The 120 I bothered.

looks pretty badboy! I have mixed feelings about the tail lights though. Not quite as cool as the 120B taillights, but I suppose they're something differerent. Psot some pictures of the engine!
