The steering wheel in the picture was used as the standard fitment in the JDM KB10GL & was also available as an option in other KB10's.
It was also part of the 1200 coupe sports option wheel.

It was never available in this form, it came from the factory as a complete assembly to suit one model or the other. [not interchangeable as a complete assembly]

In the KB10, it was available as a 'sports' model sans the spoke pads, or as a DeLuxe model when the pads were fitted.

The KB10GL used the DeLuxe version.

conehead is the steering wheel you swapped an italian made one with an ebay steering boss?
asshole told me it was a factory option one
and charged me 250 for it
then i ended up also buying a lock and key set for a wagon but it wasnt for a wagon but atleast i have ignition now

Nah i didn't buy it i had a seperate incident
with him age's ago. I swapped him my
woodgrain sports wheel for his "mint"
standard one, when it got here the plastic
was crumbling in my hands. The guy is a
first class dickhead!

Well in that case he knew exactly what he was 'supposed' to be selling.

He sold d1kwagon a Sports steering wheel but not the ones that we want.

It was completely different.

EDIT: Was this the type with the big D in the middle? The one that you are talking about?

No it was the standard later 1000 wheel,
correct for the coupe but faaaarked!!!
THEN when i rang him and abused him, he
asked me to send a grill badge we had discussed! cheeky ####.
