heres an electronic dizzy i made from one that i got for free off datman55
everything is identical to the original a series dizzy except for the cog which i changed straight over from the old points dizzy
note that it doesnt have vac advance
does anyone know what this is off?

You can see the ID numbers on the side there ... D4P65 something and 22100- something

22100 is the Nissan part number for distributor.. the rest of the number will tell us the exact engine and car model and year it is for

D4P is the Hitachi distributor type, which is a computer-controlled type. It doesn't have a coil pickup, but can be used with the Datsun/Nissan ECU -- or with MegaSquirt, Haltech, or many other high-feature ECUs
