My poor, poor sedan no 2003/8/2 21:08 Tell a friend 2845 14 0.00 (0 votes)
I least I bought it this way & didn't have to suffer the pain it surely would have caused. Oh well, trunk is rusted to hell anyway. |

Re: My poor, poor sedan This 1200 came probably from Japan. A little kid picked up a stone and put it in Dad's car trunk, only later to watch in wonder the transformation of the rock, which in reality was an egg, Godzila's egg, into an event that scarred many lives! In horror, mass histeria and pandemonium, the residents of the city of Tokyo witnessed the horrorific exit of Godzila from the trunk of the 1200 Datsun, car which,in fortune, held in what was still a juvenile, small version of the monster Godzila, allowing part of the body to escape damage. In panic, residents of the city of Tokyo run amoc, loosing their minds and becoming crazy! Very few details of the event exist today, except for the vehicle in question.

Re: My poor, poor sedan Wait a minute ... Isn't that the rare factory driver's side trunk cargo access option?

Re: My poor, poor sedan I hope you drive it around like that? At least no one will park too close to you on the driver's side

Re: My poor, poor sedan thats some weird damage. ive never seen anything like that. I guess a modern cars 'crumple zones' would have ment half the back would have folded neatly so as to not hurt your back but crush your legs. that damage looks totally isolated. are the rails bent?

Re: My poor, poor sedan Why do you ask DD? What are you thinking!? It actually would probably make it. Got a lead on a left rear quarter?...........Actually this is the ultra rare V8 killer option. You drop a V8 in the trunk, get up to speed, and hang a hard right!..........I have driven it 1/4 mile to Starbucks drivethru. But, whereas the small town cops really have nothing to do, I don't risk it anymore!............I've never seen damage like this. The skin is ripped loose but the frame rail is just fine. I need a LR quarter section: B pillar back, half way up C pillar, rear vallance, and maybe the tire well(rust) All this is courtesy of a DUI hit & run.

Re: My poor, poor sedan I am thinking maybe you could sell it to me and I could fix it. But ... I really dislike body work.
There is that 1200 sedan in Idaho. He wants $400 for it. No Title.

Re: My poor, poor sedan They finally sent an email saying both coupe & sedan are gone. But I don't want to believe them! If you are tied of waiting, I might sell her to you. ...........As damn hot as it's been 'round here(19 days straight over 100F) I may move North. Note, if I do sell her to you, you can have it @ my cost. You deserve it. Thanks again.

Re: My poor, poor sedan Quote: There is that 1200 sedan in Idaho. He wants $400 for it. No Title. Speaking of which, a reliable source told me there's a huge wrecking yard in Idaho with a bunch of well-preserved, fixable 1200's in it.

Re: My poor, poor sedan I think that is the Auto Farm in Fruitland, Idaho (near Boise). Ask for Dan if you call.
They had a fairly nice 2-dr sedan (no title) and a Coupe.
Plus another coupe in the same are owned by a guy who worked at the hospital (?)
