nicer if lower, but even i went back to a full bumper from the bumperettes, starts to look wrong

If you can rid the square indicators and use datsun 1600 bullet or 1000 bullet ones
for the sides and some of those rod healights with the indicator built in then you
can use AC cobra style bumperettes or chrome steel pins,

lower it and match the look of the era.
The samurai helmet cutouts from factory are unique.
You need some JDM wheels too.
Otherwise the stock bumper and sleeper look is almost faultless if it wasnt for
the jellies (sorry revhead). 14inch steelies with hubcaps is a much better enhanced
factory look.

Jellies are the ultimate old-school wheel. I think Revhead will agree. I just love the 5-slot mag look.

Oh that's my new bumper by the way. It is genuine Nissan 'new stock' purchased about 20 years ago by a guy in California and never fitted until I bought it a few months ago, and fitted it last week. It has a slight rusty area on one side (disappointed) but not very noticeable, still looks good.
