 Re: typical rear quarter rust its coz the inside fills up with dirt and crap then causes it to rust if its not cleaned out
in my wagon there was hard packed dirt in there, i had to pretty much chisel it out

 Re: typical rear quarter rust was taking some stuff out of the boot today and I noticed fuel stains from the filler port inside to that spot. Actually I noticed it years ago but I didn't think petrol would rust metal?

 Re: typical rear quarter rust Petrol being wet will collect dirt there and the dirt absorbs moisture from the air. So it occurs rust.
