This was a Burnout Contest but I failed to bring some crappy tires to burn. My slicks were to sticky so this was all I gave them for a show.

Hey Bart,
No passes on the 1/4 mile. Only the 1/8. I had been having fuel issues with the blower. I was running 14 psi on the fuel but the webers were running like crap. They run good around 9 psi. Im trying to find a happy medium. So now Im only running about 3 psi of boost. It seems to work well with the Nitrous. This has been an ongoing experiment.

I didn't use any nitrous on the burnout. I wish I had 1/4 mile times but I don't. My fasted 1/8 was 9.0 sec.

9.0 1/8th mile is roughly equivalent to 14.0 1/4 mile. Impressive from an a A-series engine!

Is 8th mile quite popular in the US? Apart from the junior dragsters there is pretty much no 8th mile racing here.

Considering that most americans have never been to the drags...it is popular. Both 1/8 and 1/4 depending on the venue.

What times have you been getting over the 1/4? have you made any passes with the blower and the nitrous?
