Re: Cluster Gauge Comparo That brake light was for the handbrake. There's a yellow wire coming out of the loom that you could connect a handbrake lever with a switch & it would light up this part, at least in the early ones. People would tell me the alternator was no good because the charge light would stay on when the motor was running.
