Bugger, looks like you'll be needing another alignment from me Lemme know what you do and I'll sort you out an alignment.

Thanks Dak, It will be a while before I start to fix it, as I want to get my Ute back on the road first.

I thought I dig out this old thread!
It took a little while but I did fix this car!
Was worth it! It now has 250hp at the wheels so I have avoided the hill where I bent it in the first place though!

very nice. Not only have you fixed it, also you have improved it.

A car with that kind of unibody damage would almost certainly be scrapped here in USA, due to expense. Glad to see you saved it.

that heated alloy windscreen washer and radiator overflow looks similar to Jason`s
I like the lower stance at the back like the Escort asphalt
racers/rallye cars, its does improve weight distribution

Re: When Hill Climbs Go Bad
Hi the wheels are 15" Enkei's that I had resprayed. Not too sure of the model but they would about 10 to 15 years old.

The washer bottle and over flow have been made from Brushed Stainless steel and as for the engine its standard internals. I've upped the turbo to a T28, 440cc injectors and a Link (Vi-pec) G4 Ecu. The 250hp is at 18psi so I don't run that every day (usually 16psi) but I have managed a 12.89 1/4 out of it.

Cheers
Cam

Looks like a perfect all round package!
What are the laws there for engineering?
Are you limited in capacity turbo
eg. weight x 2.5 for turbo for cc
weight x 3 for NA for cc
the above is applicable in most states here
