There is probably a better place and way of mounting the switch but this works for me.

I used the 70 degree switch.
Switches on at 82 degrees and switches off at about 76
Heat soak from top hose mounting made ne try the bottom hose, now I'm happy.

so thats the 90deg one or the 70deg one? i like the zip tie action.

doe sthe fan switch on and off or does the heat in the coolant/hose (residula heat soak) force it to stay on always?

I installed a VDO Temp guage and according to that the fan switches on at 82 degrees ( switch mounted on the bottom hose ).
