genuine Nissan, this one from a 280ZX.
This goes under the body in the rear under the gas tank. The small thing is a "damper" to smooth out the pulses and quiet

You will need to add a return line from the pressure regulator (at the engine) back to the tank. You can either Tee into the the filler hose, or have another steel line welded to the tank.

You can use this with a 1200 as the stock 1200 tank has some baffling inside. Just be careful, same as with the 280ZX don't run the tank low or the engine stops!
